AUTUMN/WINTER 2008

For Autumn Winter 2008 Firetrap presents a collection inspired by the concept of propaganda. In the women’s collection this is interpreted through performance sportswear, a body conscious silhouette and clean tailoring. Leather features in black, cream and gold accentuating a muted palette of slate, navy and marble. The men’s collection nods to militant movements, utility and military creating a unique energy. Army coats have been remixed for a new generation and contrasting fabrics add impact reminiscent of 1980s sportswear.

Denim is key. For women seven key styles of jeans are available: boyfriend, flare, tailored flare, low bootcut, sexy slim, low slim and super skinny. Men’s jeans offer a more purist approach with heavy broken twills and ozone laser treatments give a cleaner, ‘worn’ look.
